YEO'S GREEN TEA, A VIBRANT NEW LOOK
BUT WITH THE SAME GREAT TASTE!
Can't find your old familiar Yeo's Green Tea on the shelves? Search no further! Yeo's Green Tea has undergone a transformation in its packaging and now carries a vibrant and breezy look, bringing out the natural and healthy goodness of its green tea. But that's not all, Yeo's Green Tea may look different on the outside but it has stayed true to the trusted original taste well loved by many.

Yeo's Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Mr Owen Ow said, "Although change is often inevitable, we realise that when it comes to taste, consumer preference and loyalty often dictates that some products should be preserved just the way they are. So while we decided that Yeo's Green Tea needed an external boost in terms of image and packaging, we retained that natural, refreshing and healthy feeling!
"Today, green tea is the most commonly consumed beverage after water and has become a regular household name in many homes. Therefore, Yeo's has left no leaf unturned to provide consumers with a healthy beverage that suits all taste and style with the launch of the new-look Yeo's Green Tea," added Ow.

In line with 'Yeo's Stay Healthy, Yeo's the Natural Choice' platform, Yeo's Green Tea is made from 100% non-GMO (Genetically Modified Organisms) green tea leaves to retain its natural goodness. The beverage also contains less sugar to meet consumers' growing preference towards health drinks with lower sugar content.

The health benefits of green tea consumption are many. More and more consumers are turning to green tea to combat different sorts of disorders, from minor to major. Green tea contains an antioxidant known as polyphenols which fights against free radicals which can damage our cells causing us to age faster. In addition to this wonderful benefit, green tea is also believed to promote an increase in metabolism that helps lower cholesterol in the body and is also ideal for figure conscious persons keen on losing weight.

Green tea has also been proven for its effect in reducing or inhibiting the growth of the streptococcus bacterium in our mouth, which is what causes holes in our teeth (cavities) and gingivitis. Another score for green tea is that upon consumption, it leaves us with a calm, relaxed feeling.

Today, Yeo's is grateful to its loyal consumers who have remained faithful to its green tea brand. In conjunction with the launch of the new Yeo's Green Tea packaging, Yeo's is offering a two-month promotion from November - December 2008 where customers can purchase 1 litre of Yeo's Green Tea and six (6) packs of 250ml Yeo's Green Tea at discounted promotional price at all leading retail outlets, hypermarkets and supermarkets.
